MIP LED Message Display Screen

MIP, Mini/Micro LED in Package, refers to the LED panel on the light-emitting chips by block cutting, the formation of a single device or all-in-one device, after spectral mixing and optimization, through the SMT SMD solder paste welding to the PCB board made of LED display module.

This technical idea embodies the "whole to zero", the advantage is that the chip is smaller, lower loss, display consistency is high, there is an opportunity to make the cost lower, and significantly increase the yield, in order to improve the performance and efficiency of the LED display device.

The MIP solution will mix BIM with the same grade through pixel full measurement to achieve color consistency up to theater-grade color gamut standards (DCI-P3 ≥ 99%); screening out and rejecting the defects at the same time of spectral color separation to ensure the yield of each pixel point in the terminal transfer, thus reducing the cost of rework. In addition, MIP has better matchability for different substrates and pixel pitches, and is compatible with medium- and large-size Micro Led Display applications.

MIP technology advantage:

Both SMD and COB technology advantages: MIP packaging technology is essentially a combination of COB technology and SMD technology, which has the characteristics of SMD's ink, color, and easy maintenance, as well as the advantages of COB's high reliability.

More space for cost reduction, lower cost: MIP technology can avoid the problem of a few bad lamps affecting the overall quality of the panel, greatly reducing the cost of repair. In addition, MIP packaging technology can be compatible with traditional SMT production equipment, based on mature SMD technology, lower transfer costs.
To summarize, MIP packaging technology makes the pixel pitch of MIP LED Message Display Screen smaller than that of Indoor Led Display, and in terms of cost control, it has more advantages than Micro COB LED Display.
